Another brief paddle after work, cooler conditions but dry and still

On arrival at Tithe Barn, I was greeted by a Kayak trailer which turned out to be a Corsham cub troop intending to go for a paddle when their ticket holder escaped the motorway traffic.

We were set up and in the water fairly swiftly, this time heading into the town. Going wasn't as easy due to the shallow waters and volume of reeds, but we managed to navigate.

It wasn't long before we were upon the weir, and starting our return. Challenging myself to paddle as much of lockdown the return journey on my left hand (feels so alien) which needs work!

Passing the cubs playing near the ford, we headed back in the direction of avoncliffe for a while, with some epic failure on my reverse paddling (again, needs more work). Aiming for a slightly more sensible finish time, we journeyed back towards the vehicles with Danka finally finding here feet.

Another very pleasant paddle, some more research required on how to extend trips from here.
