A long awaited, and very pleasing opportunity to get beneath with Underground Rich. After an enforced period of abstinence the day finally arrived to push a boundary and visit the alternative gym.

After fighting through Bath traffic, Rich and Danka joined me in Kingsdown, suitably attired, and strolling to a familiar spot opposite the local watering hole.

As we approached the entrance, you could immediately feel what must have been a very welcome ten degree drop in the temperature, and even further on clambering inside.

We did a straightforward trip (with one nav error by JC corrected by RM) through to the crane for a few pics, soon after to be joined by a couple of fellow (and perhaps mellow) explorers.

We retraced back, taking a little more time to explore, before going off to look at the bolt hole entrance and passage, once again retracing to scramble the fall, and step out into the sauna.

So pleasing to be able to get underground with Rich given his journey of recent, and great to spend some time in a favourable environment.

Good to see another milestone passed and another step towards adventure. Onwards and upwards!
