A short across farmland to a trig point behind the hedge
Very wet walk over farmland leading to a raised plateau - no trig point so used GPS to identify highest point
A rather unassuming top adjacent to a Very orderly farm - no pronounced features in a small copse. I wonder how it got it's name - boring field?
A very short walk to a view point on a Roman camp overlooking the North Sea. Torrential rain now set in
A fairly non descript location on the side of a track is the highest point in Suffolk
An interesting spot to find in the dark tucked away next to a covered reservoir
A walk across farmland and through woodland to an isolated corner of a field which claims the highest spot in Essex. A welcome break from driving on this autumnal night with the moon trying to penetrate the hill fog to lighten the way
To avoid traffic we did Kent at night - very close to a road
Day 4 of the challenge with the fine weather breaking provided the setting for an ascent over boggy moorland with poor visibility to the summit. A good opportunity to practice compass skills kept us on track up and back
A rare opportunity to access this military range. Very boggy ground conditions on occasion up to knees was rewarded by peace, rich bird life and no litter. No one else seen on the fell.
